The carrier is certainly nice and comfortable for my 5.5kg cat but there are some design flaws.1. Styrofoam panels covered with fleece are not very durable. As I wore them, the board began to fold. The heavier your cat, the more likely the crease will deepen and you'll have a cat taco situation. 2. Velcro that attaches the fleece to the backpack wall is only in the middle of the fleece. The lining will eventually bend at the corners and hang over the cat as you wear it. Pretty sad to see.3. Not intended for transport in winter! This is a breathable carrier, but there's no way to protect your pet from the weather. There are two open mesh screens. Otherwise, I like the carrying and folding sides. I would not put an animal over 5-6 pounds in it.
