I don't know, maybe I was just unlucky because I read a lot of reviews before choosing this deck, but the layers in the deck I got were just rubbish. Crate. I gathered my board and put it down, tried to stand up using the hand controls and it sounded and felt like the deck was falling apart right around the rear axle. I physically placed my hand on the board exactly where it felt like it would do that and I definitely felt the board pop and creak in my hand. turned the board over and did the same, but it didn't. The deck is rubbish, not a single scratch or mark from riding on it. weak to be honest.
