Review on Thule Rapid Aero Rack System: Efficient and Versatile Roof Rack Solution by Kyle Ahmed

Not bad at all: Luggage rack

Attached to a 2007 Audi A4 sedan. The installation went smoothly. The stance looks really great, much more level than most. I also recommend a disguise. A few DIY tips: 1. You don't need to twist the foot handle until it breaks when installing. If you're bending metal, you're doing something seriously wrong.2. When you insert the grommets into the cargo bars (do this after installing the legs and bars to the vehicle), press them into the groove in the center, then press the ends into place (leave about 1/4 inch of the end of rod) . weatherproof), then press down evenly. Otherwise, you'll end up with a protrusion of a rubber strip that will prevent you from gently putting on the end caps. 3. When installing the locks on the luggage rack, you can either punch holes in the handles first before putting your feet on the car, or you can punch out blank circles when it's on the roof of the car. from the inside of the handles. 4. You must press the handles firmly to close them after screwing them tight. 5. Attaching the fairing is easy. Fairing assembly, while simple, is not easy. it is necessary to push the center anchors into the clasp, which requires considerable hand strength from the ngt. I'm a really big guy and it's been really hard for me. The point is, if you have a local bike shop where you can pay $20-$30 for a setup, it's money well spent. I like the system. Rackoutfitters had a full setup for $288, including bars and a setup kit. The disguise was extra.
