I've tried a few stain remover strips like this one and so far have found that most of them aren't as effective as liquid stain remover spray. However, this one is one of the best I've experienced so far. While I still find the liquid stain remover spray a little more effective, this spray works better than most other strips. In my opinion, they are best used on fresh or easy-to-remove stains. You may have a little more trouble with more stubborn stains or stains that have been left on for more than 24 hours. I really like the smell of these bars. They're supposed to smell like rosemary, but I find they smell a little more astringent and a little more comparable to eucalyptus. I don't really smell after washing my clothes, but if you're sensitive to strong smelling products I wouldn't worry it would bother you. Several other reviewers mentioned that they didn't know how to use it. let me help It's pretty easy once you know how. Here's how I do it: I dampen the stained area, dampen the soap, and then rub the soap over the stain until the stain is saturated with the stain remover. I like to leave it on for 5 minutes and then use one of my wash brushes and gently rub the area. If I feel the stain wasn't removed properly, I repeat the process. Then I just throw it in the washing machine for regular washing.
