I think the price is good. Most well known branded vises like this are significantly more expensive but I think these vises are comparable. The 2 main issues I had upon receipt were some burrs on the edges and one of the detachable surfaces was sticking out on the side. The burrs weren't a problem - I just used the Noga deburring tool and lightly deburred the edges. As for the face of the jaw, I sanded it so that it was slightly below the side. Accuracy seems good - all 4 ground surfaces (except one jaw surface) were square when I checked with my machinist. Overall good to deal with. In fact, I found them better than the same style of Wilton vise I bought and ended up returning.
