One of the best deals, glad I bought this.

In Windows 7, the controller is not needed. We go into disk management and create a dynamic disk, then there will be a total volume of 3 TB. If you make a logical one, then the maximum will be 2 TB.

The disk has been serving for 8 years, I use it for storing media data, music, video, images. SMART after 8 years is still normal.

Pros

Volume, quiet and low power consumption, not heated.

With its pros: big, the heads are not audible, it does not heat up, it immediately got up as it should in win7-64 mother on z68. Got cons: a week later there was a rumble like from An-24, while small, but audible at night.
