I confess I was a little hesitant to purchase this tool due to the price compared to the Motorcraft version. I was determined to turn off my stupid TPMS light. I bought a set of Motorcraft tpms tire valves and installed them at Walmart (free). However, the TPMS light stayed on. They couldn't force him to reset or relearn with the tool they were using. So I called my local Ford dealer and they quoted me the cost for an hour's work ($150). Too expensive. I've already spent $89 on 4 tire valves to fix this dashboard issue. So I took a chance with this device and it worked great! Super happy. Just be sure to use Motorcraft when replacing tire valves and not aftermarket valves which may use a different "learn frequency".
