Very thin seal, poor adhesion

This is not as high quality as promised in the product description on amazon.com. First impression after opening the package is that the pods are very thin compared to the ones I bought from the local store. See one of the attached pictures; light color, thicker was from local store. Very bad adhesion. I used the pads on a small end table on a hardwood floor. When I moved the edge of the table a few days later, the pads fell off and stayed on the floor. See other picture attached. The sticky/tacky part was very thin and almost disappeared.
