Convenient packaging for color coding and insulating electrical cables. I use it all the time when building quadcopters/racing drones to protect the ESCs on the arms. It has good adhesion and withstands rough handling. What I love about 3M Scotch #35 tape is that even after sitting on the spool for a while the adhesive never gets tacky and never leaves a residue on top of the non-tacky side like some cheap tapes do. If you are super picky about tape you can also use the 3M Scotch Chart which will give you all the specifications for the different electrical tapes they make. This is great tape from the people who wrote the book on adhesives.
