I was delighted to find this machine when looking to replace an incredible and attractive coffee maker that had finally brewed its last cup. I wanted simplicity and reliability in a distinctive design. Gevi One-Touch provided it. The coffee maker brews coffee quickly and keeps it hot. It is very convenient to use. The only thing I noticed was that the pot's plastic lid gave off an unpleasant smell, at least to my mind. When hot water hit it, it smelled like something like a steam dryer. The good news is that in the first 15-20 infusions the smell has decreased significantly. This has never happened to me with any other coffee machine. And while I like and recommend this car, I think it deserves a mention. Gevi makes really good coffee. I recommend it. I hope that at some point the company looks into the type of plastic used in the lid.
