Revain Vine gave me this collection of multicolored fabric covered elastics just in time for summer. It's so hot outside you want to tie your hair up. There's not much to say about such things, so let me be brief:* It's definitely a range of colors. For example, if you want to use two identical hair ties for braids, you cannot select two identical items*. About half of them are monochromatic (e.g. blue or black) or read like that. Most of them are colorful floral designs. They're more beautiful than gorgeous, and I'm fine with that.* Functionally, they get the job done. Chiffon fabric is smooth even on curly hair. The elastic doesn't stretch much, but that's not a problem. My hair is heavy and thick and it takes me two or three twists of the elastic to hold it in place*. Other reviewers noted that chiffon is not as smooth as silk. That's right. but I can handle it. They stay on all day with no adjustment required. In my experience, silky smooth hair ties slip off and require fiddling. * The construction is fine. I haven't washed them yet, but I don't expect any problems. Twenty of them for ten bucks or something? That's a good value.
