Great rod! Best in Welding and Brazing
These 7018AC rods work very well. The slag will drain off your joint with a fresh rod out of the box, so you know the seal is good. I welded a piece of A400 to an A36 plate and got no hydrogen cracks. They prefer the top end of the amp range for a clean hit, but that's pretty typical of the 7018.
