Review on Syba SD PEX40054 Port SATA Hyper by Seth Singh

I can't speak for other motherboards but in this case I was disappointed and took a long time to build. When installing the card for the first time, don't put on any discs (easy). Install the software (check the website for the latest drivers). I was trying to install it on a Z270 rated EVGA motherboard. I had problems from the start. Bios detection worked/didn't work. I was hoping that something in the software/driver download would recognize this card, but that didn't help. Boot time (via POST) took almost 15 minutes (with drives attached and not recognized). The application (MSU) did not begin to provide me with information about the card and its operation. I installed it in a PCI-E slot.
