It's a beautiful ultra wide. Ideal if you have a powerful display-connected GPU, need an ultra wide-angle monitor and want the picture to be better than your eye can see. Don't assume your laptop can drive this monitor just because you have a Thunderbolt or USB 3 port. Thunderbolt/USB compatibility with this monitor is a complex mess. Even my compatible Thunderbolt laptops had to be replugged repeatedly to select the correct resolution. Displayport seems like a much more reliable way to use this monitor. The monitor is flat and I had a hard time going from curved ultrawide to flat ultrawide. The pixels are so dense that you'll almost certainly need to turn on high-resolution scaling, which is fine, but don't expect to have as much usable real estate as a 49-inch 5120 x 1440 monitor (despite the fact that this monitor has many more pixels). Monitors with a diagonal of 1440 inches. It goes without saying, but don't buy this monitor for gaming.
