I bought it for a trip I took to Barcelona, Italy and Croatia. I needed something to carry on my back so I could move freely from one place to another on foot. I couldn't be happier with this bag. It comes with a small backpack so you can take it with you and leave the large bag at the hotel when you leave. I was able to put clothes in this bag for about 6-7 days (more days if you stay clean and don't sweat all day). My trip was 12 days so the Air B&B we stayed at mid-trip had a washing machine so it was perfect. Looks pretty solid. I packed it to the limit and it survived 5 flights. It is not suitable for carry-on baggage, so you will have to check it in. I am very happy with the purchase.
