Rotors as specified by the manufacturer

After installation, like many other buyers, I noticed vibrations when braking. EBS Brakes addresses this on their website, claiming that it takes about 1,000 miles to break in and that many cars have hubs, which is not true. The proposed solution is to mount the rotors onto the hubs on a lathe. Well after a 1000 mile break in the time I took the wheels off and clamped the dial gauge to measure the run out it was a little over 10km either side, way out of tolerance. To make sure my hubs were bad I marked the top and bottom points on the rotors, removed them and rotated them 180 degrees. and reset, the low is now where the high was before and vice versa. If my hubs were bad and the rotors were intact I would read the trough where the peak was during the previous test, but that wasn't the peak, the peak was still at my peak on either side. I tried swapping the left and right rotors, the top and bottom points stayed in the same place. I checked my old rotors and they both had around 2,000 strokes although they were still rusty whichever side I installed them on. This leads me to conclude that my bushings are fine and that these rotors were not modified during production. It looks like the manufacturer is trying to bring the finishing process to the end user to save money, even though these rotors cost three times as much as other brands. I was hoping to buy quality rotors not made abroad, but that's not the case. I will restore my OEM rotors and trade them back. Edit: My hubs were magically fixed after I installed other rotors. Do not buy!
