Bought XBT1106 for my Shark SV1105. Apparently SV1105 wasn't that common, but turned out to be very similar to SV1106. It uses a 14.4 volt (8 cell) 3000 mAh battery. The original was an XB1100 battery that lasted about 3 years. I couldn't find anything that matched the XB1100 or SV1105 model exactly, so I chose one with the same voltage rating and capacitance and checked polarity when it arrived. I accidentally turned the vacuum on before the battery was charged. It ran at a comfortable power level and the light was bright. I immediately turned it off and charged the battery. After 12 hours it was ready to go and I vacuumed some problem areas. If any of you have a shedding dog (e.g. an Alaskan Husky), you know what I mean. It worked almost like new. I've only had the battery for a day so I'll post an update if the battery shows signs of draining. I think if it lasts a year it's worth the money.
