They were obscenely cheap but with pretty high shipping costs so I crossed my fingers (and checked the stats of course) before ordering 6 of these. It was a great choice and even with shipping (which made up almost all of the cost) it was still the best price anywhere online or in person. They are loud and just what I wanted. these, but don't give up! I've had a few night thugs and nosy neighbors who like to "peek in" unannounced so I used them for sliding glass windows in addition to the standard under door and placed them in the latch on the storm/screen doors so I didn't get any more surprises experience There are low, medium and high sensitivity settings as well as an on/off switch and they are easy to use. Very good buy---now if only I could train a cat and dog to use them to let me know when it's time to go out!
