I received these stools a few weeks ago and I still love them! They look nice and seem durable, but stains are best wiped away right away. I have four kids and they have actually tested them with chocolate milk, ketchup, yogurt and other nasty spills and everything so far has been wiped off with a damp towel. I don't even remember the description mentioning stain resistance but I'm very glad it exists. I thought these stools would be primarily decorative, but my family thought differently and decided this was the best spot in the house. I'll update if they fall apart or catch fire, but so far so good! Update: They've had them for over a year and they still look great!
