Maybe I don't understand how this is supposed to work. I have sprayed various rust converters in the past and they have worked quite well. You spray it on rust and it turns black. I have a truck with very light surface rust and am in the process of painting the bottom of the truck (no primer). Just sprayed black. I washed the undercarriage several times and when it was dry my plane had to spray it under the car which I did. Most rust is not actually blackened. Before I painted the truck I sprayed the degreaser on the underside again and it looks like the degreaser removed all of the rust converter when I pressure washed it. It seemed strange, not very happy with the result. I probably won't buy this again. I was suspicious when he said "water purification". Probably won't buy this again.
