After reading many reviews about different weighted blankets and their effectiveness for children and adults with ADHD, ASD and anxiety, I bought a 5 pound blanket for my 7 year old son who has ADHD and sleep problems Has. I've been waking up at night lately. When it arrived I found that it was too short for him because he is tall and I think this duvet size is better for toddlers (less than 1.20m tall) but as regulations require a weight for safety reasons, this has been marked as the correct size for him (8-12% of body weight and he is slim). . He loved the sleepy dinosaur blanket, but after working with a great customer service rep from Sweetzer and Orange - Joy - I decided to return the blanket in favor of the next larger, heavier one that would cover my son's legs. I'm not sure yet if it will be too hard for him but I'll give it a try and will update this review once we've tried it for a while. In any case, Joy reimbursed me for the $10 shipping cost to return the first comforter, so I was not out of pocket for the additional cost. Quality materials on the duvet and hopefully this will help my restless sleeper as many others have written about its benefits! 🙏🏽🙏🏼
