Review on πŸ“· CEM T-10: Professional Grade Thermal Camera with USB Type C for Smartphones - Enhanced Imaging Technology by Mark Colbert

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Thermal imaging cameras that offer good value for money

Camera: Really good value for its features and image resolution. More expensive options from brands like Flir have far fewer pixels and an internal battery that needs to be charged. You'll have to focus it manually (I didn't realize it at first), but once you've done that you probably won't need to readjust it. One downside is that the USB-C connection (on my phone at least) seems to easily lose connection when the camera is nudged. I don't have a similar issue with USB-C charging cables plugged into my phone. Application: It works but it could be improved by being able to rotate the screen when you rotate the phone. Also, if you do something in the app that causes the camera to stop being "active" (e.g. review previously captured images), random artifacts/pixels will appear in the image on screen when you go back to the cameras switch. Although the temperature unit is set to Fahrenheit, the color scale still shows the temperature range in Celsius.
