You probably want 4 inches, 2 inches is too small for my project.
These are very well suited for general fitting use. However, when I had to use this to connect the filter housings, the threads weren't long enough to create a good seal and ensure the filters were properly aligned. Overall good value for money, arrived quickly, high quality brass.
