This is a simple, effective and aesthetically pleasing way to brew and stir tea individually, with or without a tea bag. The base is well weighted and easy to clean. The only downsides are that 1) the base can stick to the stick from time to time, but only long enough to get airborne. Then this little guy is in for a ride. 2) The sieve cover must be screwed on by hand. I imagine a more convenient iteration of this would be a spring-return, handle-operated door. This way you can take a spoonful of tea with one hand and go straight to the cup. Then again, for the price, it's hard to beat.
