Review on 🚙 Rugged Ridge 17756.21 XHD Snorkel Kit for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK with 3.6L/3.8L Engine by Robert Hayes

Installed the kit on my 2014 JKU. The box arrived pretty shabby as others have said. I'm pretty handy, but it's a tricky setup. The instructions are pretty good and very detailed, but be prepared to cut the hood off your fender. They include a bracket to reattach later if needed. The fit was pretty good. You must trim the inner fender to reveal the intake pipe or the fender liner will not fully recede. Pros: Great workmanship. You won't find a better hidden tube. My fuel consumption has increased. I'm using a low mount and am at least 1mpg higher. Cons: My kit came with a broken drain plug. Not knowing it was supposed to be there, I didn't notice until the kit was fully installed. For the repair I used a tubing cutter and plastic epoxy. I couldn't even find the broken piece. Terrible packaging.
