I used this 100ft cable to carry the signal from one end of the house to the other and down the floor. My signal was very poor and nothing I tried helped. Then I took this cable and connected it from the modem (basement) to my study (upstairs, opposite end of the house). My signal is now over 100ms. I have to say I added another 25 feet of this cable for a total of 125 feet. Modem to router 100 m, router to computer 25 m. By connecting to the router instead of directly from the modem to the computer, I avoided setting up an additional DSL channel. This cable works fine for me, but I wouldn't use it outdoors. It's flat, I put it under the rubber floor in my study to traverse the room from the router to the computer. Round cables could not be used in this way. I am very happy with the cable.
