The ones filled with mercury are useless.
Looked like a decent thermometer but after it's been in the fridge and freezer it's a few degrees off. The suction cups won't stick to plastic and don't use crazy glue to attach. as expected, they steam up when the door is open and the temperature cannot be seen "at a glance".
