This mop didn't impress me at all. I only bought it because my old trusty shark finally died. As a portable handheld steamer, it works pretty cool. I've cleaned my microwave, shower, and walls with ease, and it came with lots of attachments to play with. My problem is with the wiping part. The pads are thin and cheap. There's no off switch so when I'm done cleaning the room I have to let it blow out super hot steam for a few minutes until the floor is dry, that is until I lose patience and walk across the wet floor, to turn it off .swipe and track everything. Then there's the smell. I have small dogs that always seem to miss pee pads and there is always a mess that needs cleaning up. My daily routine is as follows: work all day, come home to my dogs, let them out, remove their pee pads, sweep, mop, feed, feed myself, watch TV, go to bed. Sitting on the couch I like the smell of a freshly washed house and that has never been a problem with my Shark. Not this new mop. Actually it stinks. I have to spray on air freshener after wiping my mop just to keep my house smelling nice. What a waste.
