Enables but limits functionality

The cable does what it's supposed to do, powering the Blackmagic through the Ronin S. However, when I plug it in, my Ronin S stops working. Stays on but I lose control of the joystick. I can no longer move the camera with the joystick. As soon as I unplug the cable everything works fine. I will check for firmware updates but until then 2 stars,

Pros

The 2-pin connector is a self-locking push-pull connector. It will automatically lock when inserted into the camera. It's impossible to get out. You have to squeeze the top of the 2-pin connector to pull it out slightly instead of pulling it out by pressing directly on the cable or the bottom of the connector.
