I bought these clips for 10mm wide waterproof led strips after finding the light strip was ineffective and they work great. Be sure to screw them in straight or they won't fit as intended. I placed them 8 inches apart; The glue on the light strip adheres fairly well to the extra support. Some of my lightstrips rest on a board that doesn't allow the unmounted edge of these clamps to protrude beyond the lightstrip; I trimmed that edge of the clips and they still work fine. I've also used them to attach jumpers connecting multiple LED strips and wires from the transformer and power supply - you don't need to buy other types of clamps for this. Arrived in 2 days as promised. All parts were in stock and in perfect condition. I will definitely be using these for any future LED strip installation.
