I'm taking off a star first because 1) there are no pockets to put your hands in so the kid has to wear gloves to keep their hands warm and 2) the drawstring on the hood is only decorative and not actually put on a hood (see fig.). Otherwise it's a really nice coat. I like the color and the material substantially. Fleece/flannel lining throughout coat but NOT sleeves. The front pockets have a handy button to tuck the mittens inside if you keep them there and the sleeves have velcro to tighten them to keep out the wind. , it is a very good winter coat.
