Great capture card for the money! You just plug it in and it will appear on your computer as a video device, no installation required! Tested on MacOS and Win in OBS and VMix. It can accept almost any resolution (I tested 1080/60p, 30p, 60i, 30i, 24p, 720/60p, 30p, 24p). Intermittent frame drops in test - 270 total frame drops during 9 hours of continuous use. Also make sure the sound going through the card is set to 48kHz to avoid sound distortion (Input Sound Settings -> Advanced in Windows). The only downside is adding a bit of contrast and sharpness to the image, thus adding artifacts to the edges. Hooking up a camcorder is fine (picture is sharper but not in an uncomfortable way), but if you want to use it to capture graphics/text I'd look elsewhere - it doesn't look the best, text is overly sharp ( see attachment, it also shifts the colors a bit, but that's easy to fix).
