I'm a software developer. At work I have some good 24" 1920x1200 that I use. If it weren't for the extra real estate on my work monitors I'd say it was just as good (screen quality). And those monitors are over $600 each I searched for a long time before deciding on this one and I'm very glad I did.My only complaint is that the base of the screen isn't very solid. It doesn't fall off but the screen shakes , when I type because the base doesn't fit the table exactly. If you want to mount this, no problem. To solve this problem, I just fixed the tree trunk under the base. Speakers. yes, they are terrible. Sounds like a phone on speakers If you're buying a speaker monitor well you really need to rethink that I wish Viewsonic would just remove them and lower the price even more but I bought this for a monitor auft, not for a TV, and therefore it exceeds my expectations.
