Review on πŸ“€ Insignia NS-WBRDVD Blu-Ray Player, 1080p, with Built-in Internet Connectivity by Will Schimmel

No cheaper WIFI Blu-ray player

I was looking for a wireless Netflix streaming device. I didn't want to waste an arm and leg as that would be the main job of the device. I didn't have a Blu-ray player, so I figured now would be a good time to step up. I could do without the DVD player since the Blu-Ray also plays DVDs. That way I wouldn't be adding anything to my already crowded entertainment center, just replacing one with another. This player only has Pandora and Netflix features but that's all I was looking for. Best of all, and the reason I chose this particular model, is that it has built-in WIFI. All other players in this price range did not have an Internet connection and did not require cables or adapters. WIFI was a simple setup. It recognized my signal and all I had to do was enter my password. It downloaded the updates in a few minutes and was ready to use. I've only played one Blu-Ray, Avatar, on it, but it was as clear as I could ever want on my 27-inch 1080p TV. Although I agree with others about the clunky remote control. buttons to make it work sometimes. I would hope that a good universal remote would fix the problem but I only have this player and my TV to work with so I won't waste my money. I would definitely buy again.
