Exceeded my expectations. One day I got creative and put all my networking/home automation devices (modem, Unifi Security Gateway, 8-port Unifi POE switch, Smartthings & Hue hubs and Synology DS918+ NAS) in a kitchen cabinet. I made cutouts in the bottom and top back of the cabinet for ventilation, but that wasn't enough. I decided to try the plane and if that wasn't enough I was able to order and install a second one. Well, one was enough and it runs at a low fan speed. The fan is a bit noisy at medium to high speeds, but moves enough air at low speeds that it worked really well for my needs and was very quiet. I would like to point out that most of the time the airflow exits towards the fan from one side and not straight out. When I first put it in all the hot air blew into the corner making that area hot. I put the fan in the hole and now it's blowing into the center of the ceiling, removing the heat from the closet. This must be taken into account when drilling and mounting.
