Good shoes, not the best.
They have a kind of fluffy bottom, unlike the clutch I'm used to on jazz shoes. My daughter wore them for her costume shoes for musicals rather than ballroom dance lessons and had no complaints other than that they were too big. They agreed to socks (which matched the costume, but not necessarily if she was in dance class).
