We have an old full size mattress with a very deep pad. We are struggling to find sheets that stay. We also have a very slippery waterproof mattress topper that doesn't help. We've tried other types of bed sheet straps but they never worked and one set tore my sheets. So I was only moderately hopeful when I ordered them. Getting dressed was a PAIN. It literally hurts because at some point I had to hold the entire mattress with my head. However, this is partly because I was trying to surprise my husband, so only younger children helped me. In addition, our bed is against the wall and is only accessible from one side. We ended up installing the straps in place. I have one set to hold the mattress pad and a second set to hold the sheet. The headache was worth it. It's been over a week and the mattress topper hasn't moved. Bottom sheet only slightly loosened from sleeping to washing. That's great! The street looks so pretty I was actually tempted to make the bed with the duvet almost pulled back and fold it over the foot end of the bed so we can see the amazing sheet still tucked into all 4 corners! done differently is that I didn't pay close attention to which end of the strap has length adjustment. They all ended up on the other side of the bed, out of reach, and I think they would work better if I could pull them up about an inch.
