I bought this elbow immobilizer because I was concerned about the ulnar nerve that was making my fingers numb. I found that my elbow seemed to bother me the most during sleep, when I woke up my fingers were numb and lasted all day. I needed something to keep my elbow from bending at night. I also found that my elbow gets irritated during the day so I also wanted something to wear during the day to remind me to keep my arm straight. When I first got this immobilizer, I installed it immediately. I didn't have any of the towing issues that other reviewers had. I applied it as instructed. Once I was able to dress at will without help. The metal insert irritated my elbow at first, but once I stopped "flexing" my elbow and using it, the pain went away. At no point did I find it slipping. Overall, this immobilizer does what it is supposed to and corresponds to the description. I've only worn it for a few days, I don't know if it will hold up to daily wear. For the price and fast shipping from Revain I am happy with my purchase!
