The Veo Connect USB PC Camera is essentially the Veo Advanced model without the built in microphone. For the price of the camera, stability and functionality this is a good buy. If you use AOL 9.0, AIM, Yahoo or MSN you can't go wrong. If you're looking for a camera to use for a business, ie webcam sites that charge a fee (which I won't go into here), or if you're looking for a professional quality camera for any other reason, buy not this. The Veo Connect is perfect, aimed at those who just want to keep in touch with family and friends who don't need a plethora of features. It has a simple interface, good software and compatibility, and is extremely easy to set up. Plug it in, load the software, and then use your favorite instant messaging service. The camera runs at a nice 30 fps, which is good, and there's adjustable focus. I've looked at webcams for the last 6 years, right up to the black and white webcams that were released in 1997. I was pleasantly surprised when I came out of my office, hooked this up to my laptop and chatted with friends from the lounge chair. Overall a nice camera.
