For people with flat feet, these shoes are great! I've been wearing low to no heel shoes for a while now, I've tried about 6 different brands already and I have to say this is my favorite shoe. (except boots). Plenty of support even without a heel cap, plenty of room for splayed toes and plenty of traction for the trails and a little more for city tours, but still comfortable. Not sure about heel calluses yet, walked in them for hours with no hot spots or pinches. Very breathable with a thin but soft tongue. The pillow is very elastic but not too spongy, with good support. (I'm 5ft 10", size 12.5). If you are looking for light and grippy trail or hiking shoes, try these!
