The threads are serrated, some are even missing, causing them to strip the threads from the valve stem. Realizing that the further down I went the harder it was to screw it in, I tried unscrewing it and it was eating like a weld. Now I have to replace not one, but THREE valve stems with TPMS at my own expense. I can't even take them off the tires to return them!
