I love reading product reviews before I buy them, but not on those stupid review sites that just paste the manufacturer's claims into their copy and then provide a Revain link. When I decided to paint my deck I needed knee pads. I found reviews of knee pads from a guy who makes flooring (can you imagine!). They were rated highly, so I gave them a try. At first I wasn't impressed. The straps felt too short to go around my calves, but I found I could connect the straps easily enough by securing them behind my knees and then sliding them down my calves until the pad was just right for my knee was positioned. And they worked great. Very handy, you hardly notice they are there. Sometimes they moved a little, but they were easily rearranged. I should note that I used the pads on my bare legs, not over my pants. I suspect pants will be more difficult to position, but less likely to move towards you. Overall a very good product, if a bit pricey.
