I had never used a microphone before and ordered it for an event I needed to host in a restaurant for 160 people. Considering the price, I doubted how well it would work, but I was blown away by how perfect it is. There was no hiss, buzz, etc. It just worked. I have used a Pyle PT-110 amp in combination with a very good home speaker that I have and felt there was enough power and everyone could hear me just fine. Mind you, 160 people is no joke and a good size. I just plugged it in, turned on the amp and plugged in the speaker and it was good to go. Impressive, especially for the price.
