In short, this muffler made my Chevy Lumina 98 3.1 V6 sound like a sophisticated imported sports car. The muffler is really well made, has neat welds and is lightweight. It is filled with stainless steel mesh and fiberglass and adds a deep sporty touch to my family car. The only downside is that the muffler appears to be made from cheaper stainless steel, which can make it prone to surface rusting. This is likely because Pilot Automotive acquired the intellectual property rights from DC SPORTS and manufactures this line of entry-level mufflers in China. Overall I'm happy with it. I like the raspy sound when accelerating, the rumble when idling and the cruising sound.
