Camelback has been in the water bottle business for a long time and when you see their name on a product you get the impression that it is of high quality. and that. The finish of this bottle is excellent. The quality of the lid seal is also excellent and it's a type of vacuum insulation, meaning it's double walled with a vacuum between the walls. There are many double wall bottles on the market, but not all are vacuum bottles like the old school bottles that cost a little more but always stay hot or cold longer than anything else. The only thing I really don't care about. when the lid opens and closes for drinking. To open or close, a lever has to be rotated around the top, which isn't really possible with one hand or easily. The open and close symbols are difficult to tell at a glance whether it's safe to put in a gym bag or not. The twist lever is tight enough to unscrew the lid if not twisted hard enough. Just not a quick/easy fix. However, it does fit in the cup holders in my car, which many vacuum flasks don't. The workmanship is solid and looks better than cheaper items from other manufacturers. These are quality items. You just can't get past that uncomfortable lid if you're using it during a workout or other activity that requires you to open/close quickly.
