Doesn't work on any of my computers (new Dell laptop and desktop)

I ordered these because the ring light seemed very handy (I always have trouble getting good lighting for web conferencing) and because my laptop's built-in camera is mounted on a hinge, which is an awkward angle. However, none of the cameras I bought work on any of my computers. Both of my computers are relatively new - a Dell Precision laptop bought about 5 months ago and a Dell OptiPlex desktop bought last week. Cameras don't seem to work with USB ports - the LED doesn't light up, the indicator ring doesn't light up, and the camera doesn't show up as an option on my computers. I think this device does not work with the latest USB ports. i give them back
