Do not carry by the lid!

I think it's good that I can store my cakes here for transport if necessary. What I don't like is that little locking feature. The lid doesn't require much force to slide to the open position. If you hold it by the lid and your hand isn't completely stable (and let's face it, nobody's hand is completely stable when walking) it will open and LINK! Your cake will end up on the floor and it will surely ruin your day. So. You either have to support it from below or put it in a pocket. I would not recommend wearing it by the lid.
