As with many others, quality assurance is really poor on ASUS monitors. I ordered two and one had to be returned. Fortunately, the exchange works great. I bought the add-on with a four-year warranty (which I highly recommend). If you plug them in, download some trial software and really test it to make sure you change all the different screen settings, as sometimes the problem only occurs in the extreme settings ranges, but that just means they end up appearing in your regular settings in the future. I have a love-hate relationship with ASUS; When their products work, they work great and the specs can't be beat, but getting a product that works out of the box is definitely a silicon lottery! If you order this model, be sure to read the instructions because to get full Hz/FPS readings, you need to enable the "overclock" setting. The same goes for G-SYNC. ASUS Frame Rate Sync (ELMB) is *terrible*. Their HDR support also turns on very 'slowly', so when waking from sleep or pausing the screen there's a nice one-second delay for the signal to lock onto the HDR channel. Also make sure you are using the latest version. NVidia Graphics Card Driver *And* download the monitor driver INF file from the ASUS website as it will provide the color profile and ensure your NVidia card is fully supported! I hope that I will not have any problems in the future and that I will serve for many years, but with such high frequencies only time will tell. I will update if I run into any problems!
