for my Subaru vehicle. I asked my friend a good mechanic what brand w/n to get, he said Subaru. I said give me an after-sales solution. he said not to use Subaru. this even after he no longer worked for Subaru. insist on genuine Subaru parts. So I gave him 4 choices. I don't remember the others, but the gate is where he went quickly and without hesitation. So this is just my second replacement Subaru w/p and my first was with an OEM unit. The bar on the gate seemed to be off a bit in one or two places. The w/p matched the block perfectly, but the sides of the w/p did not fit exactly like the original part. The pump has worked flawlessly so far. I have driven over 1,000 km so far and everything is good. I would buy another.
