Today I wanted to assemble my system but after opening the CableMod cables it became clear that I can't do it. unusable. On a 24 pin, 2 of the 8 pins (don't know if it was PCIe or EPS as they are unlabeled. I think we just have to play with cables with square pins/round holes) and 6 pin, the wires that it was on top of the terminal that connects to the power supply, was on the BOTTOM terminal that connects to the MB and GPU. So you can't get clean cable routing (which is one of the main reasons to buy these braided cables). So I have a system to build for the environment and no wires to build it. I guess I'll have to buy another set and hope they work. It's always nice to buy something a second time because there is no quality control.
